Grace
Church hosted TO EVERY TRIBE missionary, A. J. Gibson on Sunday,
November 1, 2009.
To Every Tribe was founded by David Sitton, who
has been involved in church planting ministries in Papua New Guinea
and Mexico since 1977. Presently, To Every Tribe consists of church
planting in Papua New Guinea and Mexico, and a missionary training
program, the Center for Pioneer Church Planting, in Los Fresnos,
Texas.
David
Sitton is the author of several books, including, “To Every Tribe
With Jesus,” [Understanding and Reaching Tribal Peoples for Christ],
published by Grace and Truth Books, Sand Springs, OK.
“In the
Hearts of Wild Men” is the story of David Sitton, photojournalist
Ernest Herndon, and five young native preachers who set out for one
of the most inaccessible regions of Papua New Guinea - Menyamya in
1981. Tribesmen in that area are extremely warlike and, according to
some sources, still engage in cannibalism.
